Gates Foundation for Fortune Magazine

The Gates Foundation is a nonprofit fighting poverty, disease, and inequity around the world. I was commissioned by Fortune Magazine (US), through Panos Pictures (UK), to photograph a story on the foundation’s work in South Africa, visiting several project sites around Cape Town, for the article written by Alexa Mikhail.

The coverage included Ezintsha’s pharmacy/community site, the BE Part vaccine clinical trial site, and the Desmond Tutu Health Foundation’s initiatives focused on HIV prevention across local communities, including PrEP and FastPrEP programs.
