Travel Talent is a curated network of individuals and couples who participate in lifestyle photography and video shoots for luxury hotels, lodges, and resorts across Southern Africa and beyond.
Hi, I’m Michael van Rooyen. I specialise in photography and creative direction for luxury hotels, lodges and resorts.
I’m building a curated network of couples and individuals to join selected shoots as lifestyle models in exchange for a hosted, all-expenses-covered working holiday.
Shoots typically run 1–3 days and involve dining experiences, curated activities (safaris, spa, excursions) and structured photography sessions in beautiful locations all over Southern Africa and beyond.
In many cases, a modest day rate and/or accommodation voucher is included, depending on the client.
You don’t need to be a model or an influencer to qualify!
Who We’re Looking For
Families, couples and individuals comfortable on camera
People with natural energy, chemistry, and presence
Reliable, adaptable, and professional personalities
Travel-ready candidates with flexible schedules
Age 25+, but we’re especially looking for couples who are slightly older (40-65), as this often matches the guest profile of our clients.

How It Works
Apply: Submit your details via the application form
Screening: We review your submission and add you to our private database (not visible to the public).
Casting: When we have a shoot, and you seem like a good fit, we submit your profile to the client, and if they approve, you’ll be invited to confirm your availability.
Experience: Travel, model, and enjoy curated activities while creating beautiful content with professional photographers and/or videographers - all expenses paid!
Note: Shoot typically lasts between from 1 – 3 days.
